Calculus Support Sessions Sign-up Instructions

Once your test has been marked, your score will show in the Canvas gradebook. If your "CSS Diagnostic Test" score shows as 0 out of 5, you should sign up for a session. If the score shows a line or is blank, your test has not yet been marked.

Calculus Support Sessions start during week three of classes. First you need to sign up for the time slot that you will be attending. To do so, follow the instructions given below. You cannot sign up until sign up begins.

  1. Go to http://loncapa.sfu.ca
  2. Use your SFU computing ID and password to log in.
  3. Several "Courses" will show up, which may include "Calculus Support", one for your Calculus course, and "Calculus Support Session Sign-up". Select "Calculus Support Session Sign-up".
  4. Click on "Sign up".

  5. Click on "Sign up for time to work".

  6. Select a time slot. If a slot is unavailable, it is full, so choose a different slot. You may not be able to select your favourite slot.

  7. You should be successfully signed up.

  8. If a time slot is full, choose a different time slot.

This message indicates that you are signed up for Mondays, 18:30-19:20 in AQ4110 (Burnaby):

You can also change your reservation by clicking on "Change reservation", or drop your current reservation by clicking on "Drop reservation".
